I'm VO's Mexico Outreach Manager. I help animals organizing activities in over 100 universities and schools across Mexico each year. Taking information to the Mexican youth so they know how to reduce the suffering of animals through their dietary choices. We do it handing out leaflets, setting up tables with virtual reality headsets and giving presentations in classrooms among other forms.

I have done activism for more than 10 years now. And I believe education and information are the most powerful tools to create social and cultural change. In the past four years visiting schools every semester for VO I have noticed how society is changing. Nowadays students recognize more the term vegan and are starting to acknowledge it's a more compassionate and sustainable way of living. This past semester, a college student told me that it's completely possible to obtain all the nutrients we need from a plant based diet for the first time. He said that before I even touched the subject. I was so happy to hear it. That's for me a sign of how society is transforming and it wouldn't happen without that kind of information reaching them.

We can reach a point where people are not afraid of eating vegan and most of the population practice it, sparing the lives of hundreds of thousands of pigs, chickens, cows and sea animals. We need to keep moving the needle, but for that we need to keep educating people.

I will be turning 31 in may and I decided to raise $100 dollars for every year I have lived. If I reach my goal I will organize a vegan food workshop for a low income community.

Thank you for donating to VO so we can keep moving society towards a future where vegan is the norm and exploiting animals is a thing of the past.
